Getting to know

I was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN.  I have had so many experiences through church and my community, led me to believe that I had a knack for singing and acting. Growing up, I had my heart set on playing sports (more specifically, ice hockey) and wanted to one day play professionally. Well, as we do with most things in our life, I decided to change my focus from sports to music. I decided to audition for my High School show choir and as they say... "the rest is history." I became a founding member of the advanced show choir and there was so much that I needed to learn. I loved this new path I was on. While still in high school, I would audition for multiple plays and musicals. After 4 years of performing and singing, I knew where my heart was supposed to be. On the stage

In 2008, I decided to transfer from IUPUI to Ball State University to study Music Education. But my focus was not on teaching... No, I wanted to be on the stage singing and acting. So, he auditioned for the National and Internationally recognized group known as The Ball State University Singers. In two years with the group, I came to realize that teaching was not what I wanted to do. I changed my major from Music Education to Music Performance with a focus in voice. I was performing in major opera productions. After making this change, I knew the stage is where I belonged.

In 2013, I graduated with my Music Performance degree and I have been performing in various roles and aspects of the theater since. Theatre has been one of my outlets that has presented so many opportunities to grow. I performed in professional opera productions with the Indianapolis Opera company over five seasons.

In 2018, I needed a change of scenery. So, I packed up my stuff and moved to Chicago to see what opportunities were there. Since moving, I have performed in many children's theatre productions and several other main stage productions up until the pandemic in 2020.

2021 is going to be the start of many new adventures to come. Be on the look out!!

See you at the theatre
